MSC Seashore

MSC’s first Seaside EVO ship pairs a glass-floored Bridge of Sighs, an adults-only aft infinity pool and a kids’ water park with the suites-only MSC Yacht Club. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

The First Ship of the Seaside EVO Class

MSC Seashore entered service in August 2021 as the first Seaside EVO ship, a longer and larger evolution of MSC’s Seaside Class, later joined by her sister MSC Seascape. The extra deck space shows. There’s a lively aft pool deck, the Pirates Cove Aquapark, a Jungle Pool under a retractable roof, and an adults-only infinity pool low on deck 8. Inside, a New York theme runs from the Madison Theater to the Tribeca, Central Park and Manhattan restaurants.

Danny filmed this tour in 2024, and he starts on the aft pool deck, walks through MSC Aurea’s Top 19 and the MSC Yacht Club, then heads down through the buffet, kids’ clubs, specialty restaurants, spa and atrium. Watch the full tour below, or jump straight to the part of the ship you care about most.

MSC Seashore Highlights

Aft Pool Deck & Bridge of Sighs on MSC Seashore

Aft Pool Deck & Bridge of Sighs

Seashore's aft pool deck is an entertainment zone. It has a pool, two large hot tubs, a dance floor and a huge LED screen for movies and big events, and it turns into a party for sail away and theme nights. The Long Island Bar and pool sit just below. Nearby, a panoramic elevator runs down from deck 18 with views off the stern, and the glass-floored Bridge of Sighs looks straight down to deck 8.

Danny's tip: “I always recommend the panoramic elevator in the aft. It's often a little less busy than the rest, and a lot of people don't find the Sky Bar early on, so you can pop up for a quick drink.”

Pirates Cove & Jungle Pool

Pirates Cove is the kids' water park, with a pool, a pirate ship whose bucket tips water over everyone, and small slides for little ones. Bigger kids get slides that whirl out over the side of the ship and a ropes course with bridges, with a sport court on top for basketball and soccer. Next door, the Jungle Pool sits under a retractable magrodome, with two hot tubs, loungers with ottomans, and a pool bar serving coffee, fresh juices and gelato (extra cost).

Danny's tip: “The slide off the ropes course is my daughter's favorite, it's the perfect size for her. The gelato at the Jungle Pool bar does cost extra, but I will say it's well worth it.”

MSC Yacht Club

The MSC Yacht Club is a keycard-access, suites-only ship within a ship across decks 16, 18, 19 and 20. Every suite has a butler, backed by a concierge team, and a private elevator connects the decks. The Top Sail Lounge has a full bar, a Swarovski crystal staircase leads up to the Yacht Club Restaurant with its rotating menu, and the private sun deck has a pool, hot tubs and the Yacht Club Grill & Bar. Yacht Club guests also get reserved seating in the Madison Theater.

Danny's tip: “The Yacht Club restaurant is one of my favorite perks. My favorite spot is the big hot tub all the way forward on the sun deck, and they even throw a party just for Yacht Club guests.”

MSC Aurea Experience

MSC Aurea is the step up for guests who aren't in the Yacht Club. Aurea guests get Top 19, a sun deck on deck 19 with cabana-style lounge seating and hot tubs, and the exclusive MSC Aurea Bar. They also dine with open seating in two dedicated Aurea restaurants, Fifth Avenue and Manhattan, instead of a set dining time. Danny calls it the most common upgrade among Harr Travel guests who don't book the Yacht Club.

Danny's tip: “When you book your MSC cruise, I highly recommend you consider the Aurea upgrade. Almost all of our guests who aren't in the Yacht Club go Aurea, and the open-seating dining is one big reason why.”

Marketplace Buffet on MSC Seashore

Marketplace Buffet

The Marketplace Buffet stretches from aft to forward, with tables for two and four and plenty of booths. A Kids Corner is built at kid height, with fish fingers, chicken fingers and mac and cheese. Complimentary juice, lemonade and coffee stations are open all day, and there are salad bars at both ends. Chefs from around the world cook dishes like tandoori chicken and Malaysian fish, and the Sweet Treats station covers dessert.

Danny's tip: “I'm just going to say it: if it's not the best complimentary pizza on any cruise ship, it's right up there with the best. I come back for that pizza time and time again.”

Kids' Clubs & Hall of Games

MSC splits its kids' clubs by age. The Baby Club welcomes little ones from about 6 months with play sessions and drop-off blocks, the Mini Club is for ages 3 to 6, the Junior Club (7 to 11) has a LEGO partnership, and the Young Club and Teen Club cover 12 to 17. The Studio hosts active games and movie time. The Hall of Games adds virtual reality rides, a Formula 1 simulator, air hockey, pinball and carnival games, at an extra cost.

Danny's tip: “Stop by the kids' club on the first day to check in and let them know who can drop off and pick up your kids. Safety is paramount, so get it all set up early.”

Specialty Dining on MSC Seashore

Specialty Dining

Seashore's specialty restaurants cost extra. Ocean Cay is the seafood restaurant, with wine pairings. Kaito Sushi Bar brings sushi to you, with an all-you-can-eat option, and Kaito Teppanyaki has eight tables where the chefs cook as a show. Butcher's Cut is the steakhouse, with a Chef's Table upgrade, and HOLA! Tacos & Cantina offers all-you-can-eat or à la carte Mexican food plus a tequila and mezcal bar overlooking the atrium.

Danny's tip: “You get the best deal on specialty dining packages if you buy them ahead of time, and your Harr Travel advisor can add them when you book. Teppanyaki is a family favorite for us, because the kids can be a little louder.”

MSC Aurea Spa & Thermal Suite

The MSC Aurea Spa has a barber shop, a full-service salon, facials, manicures and pedicures, and treatments for teens and parent-child pairs. The thermal suite runs through a cold-water bucket, two saunas, a whirlpool, heated stone loungers, a snow room, a Himalayan salt room, bright and dark sensory steam rooms and experience showers. Yacht Club suite guests get the thermal suite at no extra cost, and three cabanas outside can be rented for a half or full day.

Danny's tip: “I always recommend pre-booking your spa treatments as early as you can, so you get the exact time that works for you. I love the heated stone loungers, I've had back issues for a long time.”
