What Personal Information Do We Collect?

We collect your personal information (and that of your travel companions) that is provided to us either directly by you or your companion, in order to provide you with the trip you are interested in. In most cases, it consists of your full legal name, address, email address, phone numbers, and credit card information, passport number, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure locations and times and means.

Information We May Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

We may collect other information, such as your IP address, search terms, and site pages when you visit us online. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include cookies and log data. We may use Google Analytics, which collects the cookie data. We may also use IP addresses to identify a visitor when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our website’s Terms and Conditions, or to: (a) fulfill a government request; (b) conform with the requirements of the law or legal process; (c) protect or defend our legal rights or property, our website, or other users.

How Do We Use Preference Based Advertising, Analytics, and Services?

We do not currently share your information that we collect for preference-based advertising purposes and we do not currently have any plans to do so.

Who Do We Share Your Information with and Why?

Travel Suppliers: We share your personal information as necessary with suppliers of services for your trip.

Email Communications: We do not share your email contact information with any other parties. You may unsubscribe from receiving future commercial email communications from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of any marketing emails. However, we reserve the right to send you transactional emails such as customer service communications in connection with the products or services you have purchased.

Transfer of Assets: We do not sell or lease personal information or provide a list of our customers to third parties. However, if another entity acquires us or all (or substantially all) of our assets, the information we have about you will be transferred to and used by this acquiring entity. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.

Other Sharing: We may also share your information to protect and defend our rights and property.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

• Right to Know whether we are processing any personal information about you and certain personalized details about the personal information we have about you.
• Right to Delete: You can request that we delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Right to Correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
• Right to Opt-Out of Personal Information Sales that involve third parties accessing your personal information in exchange for some compensation, such as improvements to their services, like better personalization in advertising.
• Right to Limit Sensitive Information: You can ask us to limit our use or disclosure of sensitive personal information to only what is necessary for specific business purposes.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: You also have the right to be free of retaliatory or discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

However, please note that if the exercise of these rights limits our ability to process personal information (such as in the case of a deletion request), we may no longer be able to provide you our Services or engage with you.

We will need to verify your identity before processing your request, which may require us to request additional personal information from you or require you to log into your account.

In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the requests described above, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity. If we are unable to comply with all or a portion of your request, we will explain the reasons for declining to comply with the request.

Please note that we can only process privacy rights requests for personal information processed by Harr Travel. If you have interacted with any other third party, you will have to contact that third party to exercise your privacy rights.

Shine the Light Request: If you are a resident of the State of California, you also may have the right to request that we provide you with (a) a list of certain categories of personal information we have disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year and (b) the identity of those third parties. You may obtain a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed certain personally identifiable information, if any, by requesting the information in writing at privacy@harrtravel.com.
