Celebrity Beyond

Celebrity’s third Edge Series ship is longer and taller than her older sisters, with a two-story Retreat Sundeck, a Sunset Bar designed by Nate Berkus and Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

The Third Edge Series Ship, Built a Little Bigger

Celebrity Beyond joined the fleet in April 2022 as the third ship in Celebrity’s Edge Series, after Celebrity Edge and Apex. She’s about 60 feet longer and one deck taller, and Celebrity used that space well: a bigger Resort Deck, a two-story Retreat Sundeck, a Sunset Bar nearly twice the size, and Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, which made its debut on Beyond. Gymnast Simone Biles is her godmother, and she offers the widest range of staterooms and suites in the Celebrity fleet.

Danny says Beyond has gone above and beyond her sisters, from the dining to the entertainment to the innovative design. He walks you through the ship from the Resort Deck and the Magic Carpet all the way down to Camp at Sea and Destination Gateway. Celebrity Beyond Highlights

Resort Deck on Celebrity Beyond

Resort Deck

Beyond’s Resort Deck has about 30 extra feet compared with her older sisters, and the pool is one very large pool, great for laps or just cooling off. Sunken lounge areas, tiered loungers facing the sea and rentable cabanas surround it, with champagne-glass hot tubs at each end and an elephant sculpture as the ship’s signature. At night the deck turns into a party space. In November 2026 it gets new spots to eat and drink, Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol.

Danny's tip: “I like coming down in the morning or later in the evening, when the pool is the perfect place to swim laps.”

Magic Carpet

The Magic Carpet is a platform cantilevered off the side of the ship, and it rides on tracks between decks. Its job changes with its position. Up by the pool deck it’s a bar with lounge seating, sofas and big views straight out to sea. On Deck 5, just outside Raw on 5, it becomes a specialty dining spot. On tender days it drops to Destination Gateway and becomes a comfortable boarding platform for Beyond’s air-conditioned tenders.

Danny's tip: “After a wonderful day in Rome or Santorini, I love heading back up here for a cocktail before going out for the night.”

Sunset Bar & Rooftop Garden on Celebrity Beyond

Sunset Bar & Rooftop Garden

Designed by Nate Berkus, Beyond’s Moroccan-themed Sunset Bar is nearly twice the size of earlier versions and spans two levels at the stern, with archways, patterned tiles, small cabanas and tiered seating that steps down toward the Oceanview Café. Just forward, the Rooftop Garden is filled with live plants and has a running track, a stage and a big LED screen for games and movies, plus see-through float pools off the side. Bora replaces the Rooftop Garden Grill in November 2026.

Danny's tip: “The aft of the ship is my favorite spot. That wake in the distance makes my blood pressure go down, and it's even better with a drink in my hand at sail away.”

The Retreat

The Retreat is Celebrity’s ship-within-a-ship for guests in Sky Suites and above. On Beyond the Retreat Sundeck grew to two levels, with infinity-edge hot tubs, daybeds, a pool with hanging loungers, and a bar and lunch restaurant known for the Luminae Burger. Luminae moved up to Deck 16 and wraps around the front of the ship, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with dishes from Daniel Boulud. The larger, enclosed Retreat Lounge is home base for the concierge team.

Danny's tip: “At Luminae I always ask for a table by the window, so I can take in those beautiful views.”

The Spa & SEA Thermal Suite on Celebrity Beyond

The Spa & SEA Thermal Suite

Beyond’s spa is one of the most comprehensive at sea, with massages, facials, wraps, a Medi Spa, a full salon and a men’s barber shop. The SEA Thermal Suite has heated stone loungers facing the ocean, a Himalayan salt room, a hammam, an aromatherapy steam room, a rainfall shower circuit, float loungers, a crystal room and an infrared sauna with sea views. Access is included for AquaClass and Aqua Sky Suite guests; everyone else can buy a pass.

Danny's tip: “Come up on the first day for the spa tour, when everything is open and you can book. My personal favorite is the hot stone massage.”

Eden

Eden is a three-deck space at the back of the ship, wrapped in thousands of square feet of glass and filled with living plants and a living wall. By day it hosts art classes and live music. At night it turns into an entertainment venue, and the bar is known for its smoked cocktails. Eden Café serves soups, sandwiches and grab-and-go breakfast, and Eden Restaurant offers a tasting menu or à la carte dishes from an open kitchen.

Danny's tip: “A lot of people don't find Eden Café until later in the cruise, and it's one of the best restaurant options on board.”

Grand Plaza & Specialty Dining on Celebrity Beyond

Grand Plaza & Specialty Dining

The Grand Plaza is the heart of Beyond, a three-deck square inspired by Italian piazzas, and a new walkway on Deck 5 looks down to the Martini Bar on Deck 3. Bartenders do flair shows under the LED chandelier, and the dance floor hosts live bands and silent discos. Around it are Cafe al Bacio, the World Class Bar, Raw on 5 for sushi and seafood, and Fine Cut Steakhouse, now stretched out to the edge of the ship.

Danny's tip: “Raw on 5 is my personal favorite on board. Grab a reservation, because it's one of the first to go.”

Four Main Restaurants

Instead of one big dining room, Beyond has four complimentary main restaurants: Cyprus (Mediterranean), Cosmopolitan (New American), Normandie (modern French) and Tuscan (Italian). They share a rotating daily menu and the classics, and each adds its own signature dishes and cocktails. You choose early, late or flexible Celebrity Select Dining before you sail. Beyond also carries one of the deepest wine collections at sea, and the sommeliers are happy to pair your dishes.

Danny's tip: “Cyprus is my personal favorite. I love Mediterranean food, and the grilled octopus is really good.”

Signature Experiences on Beyond

Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud

Chef Daniel Boulud's restaurant debuted on Beyond: an intimate room with a travel-inspired tasting or à la carte menu and sommelier pairings. Some Harr guests booked it twice in one week. It's small on purpose, so reserve it early.

Le Petit Chef

By day Le Grand Bistro is a French boulangerie and café. At dinner it becomes Le Petit Chef, where projectors turn each table into a stage and tiny animated chefs prepare your meal. Danny's family loves dinner with a show.

▶ See it · 54:51

The Club

A two-story, multi-use venue with the feel of a Manhattan nightclub. Days bring trivia and talks; evenings bring sing-alongs, dance parties and acrobatic shows on a big stage. Danny's favorite seats are up in the balconies.
