Crystal

Crystal pairs warm, intuitive service with some of the most spacious ships at sea, where a butler looks after every suite and guest room and the only Nobu restaurant at sea is just down the hall. Now part of A&K Travel Group, Crystal has refreshed Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony and is building its first new ship in 25 years – our advisors know these ships firsthand and can help plan every detail.

Classic Luxury, Thoughtfully Reimagined

For more than three decades, Crystal has been a byword for refined, unhurried cruising, and its loyal guests will tell you the reason is the crew. With nearly one crew member for every guest, a butler for every suite and guest room, and staff who remember your name and your favorite drink, the experience feels personal from the first day. After A&K Travel Group acquired the brand in 2022, both ships were refurbished and relaunched in 2023 with new restaurants, refreshed suites, and a more inclusive fare.

The result is a line that feels both familiar and new. Crystal was named the No. 1 Midsize-Ship Ocean Cruise Line in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards in both 2025 and 2026, and the new Crystal Grace is set to join the fleet in 2028.

Crystal Grace is the brand’s first new ocean ship in 25 years and its first under A&K Travel Group ownership. Steel was cut at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard near Venice in May 2026, and the 650-guest ship is scheduled to debut in 2028, sailing alongside Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.

Crystal Grace will be all-suite and all-veranda, with interiors by Tillberg Design of Sweden, enhanced storage, and select suites with expansive wraparound verandas – a first for Crystal. A residential-scale Owner’s Suite also debuts, while favorites like Umi Uma, Osteria d’Ovidio, and the Seahorse Pool return, joined by new private cabanas.

The investment does not stop there. Crystal has confirmed a further new ship with Fincantieri, scheduled for delivery in 2034, and Crystal Serenity will add a Crystal Owner’s Suite and four Junior Penthouse Premium Suites after a 2028 dry dock. Our advisors follow these updates closely.

A Butler for Every Suite

Your Home at Sea, Refined

Crystal’s refurbished ships offer ocean-view accommodations ranging from guest rooms to Penthouse Suites, and every category comes with personal butler service. Beds are dressed in linens by Jesurum Venezia 1870 and Revival New York, robes are by Etro, and bathrooms are stocked with full-size Ortigia products made with natural ingredients from Sicily. Your butler is on hand for the details, big or small.

Crystal Serenity has 402 rooms and suites for 740 guests, and Crystal Symphony has 330 for 606, so public spaces rarely feel crowded. Penthouse and Junior Penthouse guests can order room service from Osteria d’Ovidio and Umi Uma, and Crystal Serenity also offers single guest rooms for solo travelers. Our video tours show you the layouts before you choose.

The Only Nobu Restaurant at Sea

Crystal’s partnership with chef Nobu Matsuhisa spans more than 20 years, and Umi Uma remains the only Nobu restaurant at sea, serving his Japanese-Peruvian fusion in an elegant dining room and sushi bar. Osteria d’Ovidio brings Italian fine dining created with the Michelin-rated Alajmo brothers, while Beefbar serves Riccardo Giraudi’s celebrated steaks and sharing plates.

Everyday dining is just as considered. Waterside changes its menu daily, Marketplace adds live cooking stations to breakfast and lunch, and Scoops serves gelato made by Badiani of Florence. Complimentary specialty reservations come with every sailing, with more on longer voyages, and 24-hour in-suite dining means breakfast on your veranda is always an option.
