Oceania Sirena

Oceania Sirena pairs classic Regatta-class elegance with Oceania’s included specialty dining at Tuscan Steak and Red Ginger, a true observation lounge high above the bow and a sweeping grand staircase. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

Classic Elegance, Two Included Specialties

Oceania Sirena is one of the line’s four Regatta-class ships. She was built in 1999 and joined Oceania in 2016 after a full refurbishment, with 337 suites and staterooms. Her size lets her reach smaller ports. Sirena has her own specialty pairing: Tuscan Steak, which blends Italian favorites with a steakhouse menu, and Red Ginger, Oceania’s Asian restaurant. Both are included in the fare, along with sodas, coffees, teas, bottled water and juices.

Danny calls Oceania a fan favorite for its cuisine, its service and a crew that knows guests by name. He filmed Sirena from the pool deck, Terrace Café and Waves Grill to the putting green, Horizons, the library, the Aquamar Spa, the Sirena Lounge and the grand staircase. Oceania Sirena Highlights

Pool Deck & Walking Track on Oceania Sirena

Pool Deck & Walking Track

Sirena's main pool sits in the middle of the deck, with a shallow ledge to sit and dip your toes, plus two hot tubs. Day beds for two and loungers for one face the ocean or the pool, in both sun and shade. The pool bar serves the whole area, all the way into the Waves Grill extension. One level up, a walking track loops all the way around the oval.

Danny's tip: “I love that they have a walking track up here. With all the delicious food, you may want to walk it off before or after, and it's the perfect way to start the day.”

Terrace Café

The Terrace Café is Sirena's casual buffet, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a coffee and juice bar and bar service throughout. A pizza station turns out different pies every day and makes eggs to order in the morning. In the middle, a grill serves lobster and steak made to order, with a pasta station, seafood, a salad bar with charcuterie and a Caesar station, soups, and an ice cream and gelato bar.

Danny's tip: “My favorite spot is out back on the outdoor terrace, right on the aft rails, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or even a cocktail before you head out to dinner.”

Waves Grill

Just outside the Terrace Café, Waves Grill is generally open from late morning until early evening. The menu goes well past the usual pool grill, with a Wagyu burger, surf and turf with lobster, hot dogs and sandwiches, plus a make-your-own salad bar. An ice cream station serves malts and milkshakes, and fresh juices in the morning. Guests sit at tables for two and four, order, and relax while the food comes to them.

Danny's tip: “I wanted to start with the most important stop, the ice cream station. I love that you can get fresh juices there in the morning, and my personal favorite on the menu is the Reuben.”

Horizons

All the way forward at the top of the ship, Horizons is Sirena's classic observation lounge, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out the front and sides. Seating wraps around a dance floor in the middle, and a full bar at the back serves cocktails before and after dinner, often with live music. Horizons also works well for cocktail parties and group gatherings. Most afternoons, it hosts a traditional high tea.

Danny's tip: “One of my favorites is high tea, which they do in here most afternoons. I used to do it with my grandma as a youngster, so it brings back all kinds of memories for me.”

Library & Card Room on Oceania Sirena

Library & Card Room

Like every Oceania ship, Sirena has a full library, with an extensive curated collection of fiction and non-fiction, a grab-and-go book exchange and a reference shelf of guidebooks for the ports she visits. Comfortable seating invites guests to put their feet up. On deck 10, the internet café helps with the included Starlink login, and the card room hosts friendly competitions, board games and a communal puzzle.

Danny's tip: “Some of my favorite books I've found on board cruise ships, books I may not have picked up otherwise.”

Tuscan Steak

Tuscan Steak blends two Oceania favorites: the handmade pastas and traditional Italian dishes of Toscana and the steaks of Polo Grill, all on one large menu. The restaurant wraps around the aft of the ship with floor-to-ceiling ocean views and a bar anchored in the middle at the entrance. It is included in the fare. Suite guests get priority reservations, and pre-booking depends on the category booked.

Danny's tip: “If you love handmade pasta and you want a delicious ribeye like I always do, you can have both here, with a huge variety to choose from.”

Red Ginger on Oceania Sirena

Red Ginger

Red Ginger has long been one of the favorites of Oceania guests. The Asian fusion menu brings together dishes from Korea, Japan, Thailand, China and beyond, from soups and starters through main courses from both sea and land. Together with Tuscan Steak, it is one of Sirena's two specialty restaurants, and both are included in every guest's fare, with reservation priority based on the category booked.

Danny's tip: “You'll come back here time and time again and absolutely love it.”

Grand Dining Room

The Grand Dining Room serves classic plated breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, complementing the specialty restaurants and the Terrace Café. Tables are set with Versace tableware beneath chandeliers, but the extensive menu is the real draw. Just outside, Baristas serves complimentary coffee drinks and pastries, and the grand staircase leads down to guest services, the destination services desk and the executive concierge.

Danny's tip: “One of my favorites is when they do special events, including a wonderful brunch.”

Signature Experiences on Sirena

Afternoon Tea in Horizons

Most afternoons, Horizons hosts a traditional high tea above the bow, with wraparound views. Danny calls it one of his favorite experiences on board, one that brings back childhood memories.

Aquamar Spa Terrace

Just forward of the spa, this quiet terrace has loungers with forward-facing views and a therapy pool in the middle. Guests in Concierge Level staterooms and higher have it included in their fare.

The Grand Staircase

Danny has always found this class of ship elegant, and the grand staircase shows it best. It's perfect for photos, and nearby hangs a portrait of Sirena's godmother, Claudine Pépin.
