Enchanted Princess

Princess Cruises’ fifth Royal Class ship pairs two Sky Suites and more than 1,400 balconies with the adults-only Sanctuary, the Enclave thermal suite and MedallionClass service built in from day one. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

An Evolution of the Royal Class, Built for MedallionClass

Enchanted Princess was delivered by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, Italy, in September 2020 as the fifth of six Royal Class ships, and sailed her maiden voyage from Fort Lauderdale in November 2021. Danny calls her an evolution of the class and close to perfect, with the biggest pool bar on a Royal Class ship, more sun deck space and MedallionClass designed in from the start. Since filming, Princess has added The Catch by Rudi and 360: An Extraordinary Experience, offered only on Enchanted and Discovery Princess.

Danny started cruising with Princess as a kid, with his parents and grandparents. A trip to Europe on the original Royal Princess opened his eyes to the world, and it’s part of why he became a teacher and does what he does today. He walks you through Enchanted from the top-deck pools down to the Lotus Spa. Watch the full tour below, or jump straight to the part of the ship you care about most.

Enchanted Princess Highlights

Pool Deck & Movies Under the Stars on Enchanted Princess

Pool Deck & Movies Under the Stars

The top pool deck has two large pools, several hot tubs and another level of sun loungers above, all facing the giant Movies Under the Stars screen, a concept Princess pioneered. Films and sporting events play in the evening at no extra cost. Two large pool bars serve the whole deck, with the Salty Dog Grill and the pizzeria close by. Because Enchanted was built for MedallionClass, guests can order food and drinks on the app and have them brought to their lounger.

Danny's tip: “From my lounger, I log in on the app and order a drink or something to eat, and they bring it right to me. You can even have it sent down to your room.”

The Retreat & The Sanctuary

The Retreat is a complimentary adults-only pool and bar on two levels, with a pool big enough for laps, a shallow ledge for cooling off, and trellis-topped cabanas and two hot tubs upstairs, first come, first served. At the very top of the ship, facing forward, The Sanctuary is a paid adults-only space with loungers, a hot tub and private cabanas with TVs, robes and their own food menu. Massages can even be booked in an open-air spa cabana.

Danny's tip: “On a scenic sailing, like Alaska or the fjords, the Sanctuary is a phenomenal viewing spot, right at the front of the ship at the highest point. If you want a massage up here, book it as soon as you get on board.”

World Fresh Marketplace on Enchanted Princess

World Fresh Marketplace

The World Fresh Marketplace is a huge buffet with matching lines on both sides, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grab-and-go bites, a Caesar salad station, a carvery, a pasta station and themed stations in the middle keep things moving. The Pastry Shop doubles as a coffee bar, with desserts for different dietary needs. Out back, the Wake View Bar and an infinity-edge pool look straight out over the ship’s wake, Danny’s favorite view on any ship.

Danny's tip: “Most people stop at the first food they see, and I don't blame them. I always head all the way to the back, then work my way forward.”

Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery splits kids by age, with programming tied to Discovery and Animal Planet and to wherever the ship is sailing. The Treehouse (ages 3 to 7) has a jungle gym with a slide, arts and crafts, little basketball hoops and an outdoor tricycle track. The Lodge (8 to 12) has skee-ball, air hockey, foosball, books and its own DJ system. Teens 13 to 17 get the Beach House, a lounge with games, a dance floor and a video game center.

Danny's tip: “As an educator and a parent, I know that if every member of the family is engaged and having a great time, it's going to be a perfect cruise for everyone.”

Crown Grill on Enchanted Princess

Crown Grill

Crown Grill is Princess’s classic steakhouse, and Danny calls this one the most beautiful yet. Starters run from jumbo shrimp and crab cakes to tuna tartare, French onion soup and lobster bisque, followed by ribeye, strip loin, filet mignon and lobster. An open kitchen fills the room with the smell of the grill, and the menu adds local touches depending on where the ship is sailing. Next door, the Crown Grill bar and lounge has live music and comfy seating.

Danny's tip: “I'm a ribeye guy myself. If you're celebrating with a bigger group, ask about the Wine Room on your first day on board so they can reserve it for you.”

The Piazza

Modeled on an Italian town square, the Piazza spans decks five to seven and is the social hub of the ship, with a dance floor, a bandstand and live music. The International Café serves food and coffee 24 hours a day. Good Spirits at Sea pours cocktails designed with master mixologist Rob Floyd, and Bellini’s looks down from deck seven. Princess brings the destination aboard here too, with cultural performances, dancers, singers and cooking demonstrations, plus plenty of people watching.

Danny's tip: “My special place in the Piazza is the gelato stand. And in Alaska, they bring the sled dog puppies right into the Piazza. It's one of my all-time favorites.”

Sabatini's on Enchanted Princess

Sabatini’s

Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria sits forward of the Piazza, next to Guest Services, and Danny calls this one the most beautiful Sabatini’s in the fleet. What sets it apart is the handmade pasta, made near the entrance throughout the day. A classic Italian meal runs from burrata and antipasti through the pasta courses to entrées and dessert. Booths line the windows, and tables for two or four can be pushed together for groups of 10 or 12.

Danny's tip: “My family and I have dined at Sabatini's more times than I can count, and it delivers every time. You might want to dine here a couple of times on your cruise.”

Lotus Spa & The Enclave

The Lotus Spa covers massages, facials, wraps and med-spa treatments, plus a salon, a barber shop and pedicure chairs with ocean views. A couples villa adds a soaking tub and a large shower. The Enclave, Princess’s largest-ever thermal suite, centers on a hydrotherapy pool with bubble loungers and waterfalls, surrounded by heated stone loungers, a Turkish hammam, a caldarium, a laconium and a circuit of experience showers, from Siberian cold to tropical rain.

Danny's tip: “I've had a bad back for a while, and I love getting under the waterfall in the Enclave pool. It really works on the knots. A treatment after a shore excursion, then dinner, is one of my favorite combinations.”

Signature Experiences on Enchanted Princess

Sky Suites

Enchanted has just two Sky Suites, set above the pool deck with a balcony that wraps around the side, the largest balcony Princess offers. Guests get a private view of Movies Under the Stars, and each suite sleeps up to five.

Take Five Jazz Lounge

A live jazz club with a piano, a drum kit and a dance floor, at its best before and after dinner. By day it's a quieter, light-filled room, and Danny's wife likes to come here to sew.

▶ See it · 43:39

Crooners

A Princess classic: a piano bar where a pianist sings favorites and takes requests every evening. It brings back memories for Danny, whose grandfather always loved Crooners. Look for the whiskey collection and cozy nooks for two or for larger groups.
