Seven Seas Navigator

Regent’s most intimate ship carries about 490 guests in all-suite comfort, with Prime 7 and Sette Mari included and a crew that Danny says sets Regent apart. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

A Small Ship with Big Inclusions

Seven Seas Navigator entered service in 1999, her hull begun in Leningrad and finished as a cruise ship by T. Mariotti in Genoa. She carries about 490 guests, and every accommodation is a suite, most with a private veranda. The fare includes specialty dining, drinks, shore excursions, WiFi and gratuities, and a 2016 refurbishment refreshed her suites and public spaces.

Danny filmed this tour in 2025 and calls Navigator a fan favorite of many Harr Travel guests. He says the big distinguishing factor of Regent is the service, and he shows why, from the putting green and Galileo’s up top to Prime 7, the Navigator Lounge and Compass Rose. Seven Seas Navigator Highlights

Pool Deck & Pool Grill on Seven Seas Navigator

Pool Deck & Pool Grill

The pool deck has a good-sized pool, two hot tubs and loungers that wrap all the way around, in both sun and shade, with more loungers tucked away one deck up. The pool bar in the corner keeps drinks coming across the deck, and an ice cream station has all the toppings. Next door, the Pool Grill serves burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish and sandwiches, plus a full buffet line and a barbecue for pool parties.

Danny's tip: “The most important part of the pool deck is the ice cream. You can stop by one, two, three, ten times a day and stock up.”

Serene Spa & Fitness Center

Serene Spa & Wellness offers massages, facials and wraps, a full salon and barbershop, and manicure and pedicure stations with ocean views. Treatments start in a relaxation room with teas and infused waters, and the men's and women's locker rooms each have a steam room and sauna that every guest can use. The fitness center is small but complete, with cardio along the windows, free weights and circuit machines, plus a studio next door for classes.

Danny's tip: “I always recommend stopping by the first day to tour the spa and book your treatments, because sea days fill up quicker than port days. For me, it's all about the hot stones.”

Putting Green & Sports Deck on Seven Seas Navigator

Putting Green & Sports Deck

All the way forward at the top of the ship, Navigator has an 18-hole putting green with wide sea views. Shuffleboard and cornhole sit nearby, and Regent adds golf cages, paddle tennis and a jogging track that circles the deck, where eleven laps make a mile. Danny points out that this ship visits some of the most exquisite golf courses in the world, and the deck is also a great spot to take in the scenery.

Danny's tip: “If you love to golf, you can set up a round as a shore excursion, and then come up here to practice or just have a little fun with some friends.”

Galileo's

Galileo's sits at the top of the ship, all the way aft. It's a classic observation-style lounge, with floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around the room, a bar anchored at the back and a dance floor in the middle. Live music plays throughout the cruise, along with other styles of entertainment, and canapés sometimes appear on the outdoor deck just behind. Regent notes it has long been a guest favorite for a cocktail and a sing-along.

Danny's tip: “One of the things I love is that there's extensive seating inside, but there's also seating just aft. It's a great place to capture those incredible views.”

La Veranda & Sette Mari on Seven Seas Navigator

La Veranda & Sette Mari

La Veranda is the casual buffet for breakfast and lunch every day. Mornings bring an egg station with omelets, French toast, waffles and eggs Benedict made to order, and lunch adds dishes that change daily, carved meats and a full salad bar. Guests can dine inside or out on the aft terrace. Each evening the room becomes Sette Mari at La Veranda, an Italian restaurant serving antipasti and Italian specialties, included in the fare.

Danny's tip: “My favorite spot to eat on the entire ship is the aft terrace just behind La Veranda.”

Prime 7

Prime 7 is the classic specialty steakhouse on board, a contemporary American room with aged New York strip, porterhouse, filet mignon and seafood on an extensive menu. Like every restaurant on Navigator, it comes at no additional cost, but it does take reservations, and there's plenty of time to dine here during the cruise. The sommelier stops by each table to pair the included wines with the meal, from the appetizers through the steaks.

Danny's tip: “I love the appetizers, but for me it's all about that delicious ribeye. It has the most flavor, and I come back to it time and time again.”

Navigator Lounge & Coffee Connection on Seven Seas Navigator

Navigator Lounge & Coffee Connection

The Navigator Lounge and Coffee Connection is the ship's central gathering spot. In the morning it's a coffee bar, with baristas making cappuccinos, espressos and americanos, a self-service coffee machine and light bites for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or snacks into the evening. A full bar and a piano take over later on, making it a relaxed place for music before or after dinner. Next door, the card room hosts bridge, mahjong and puzzles.

Danny's tip: “This is a great place to start your morning, and I like coming back in the evening, before or after dinner, to listen to some wonderful music with a cocktail or a coffee.”

Compass Rose

Compass Rose is the main dining room, serving plated, à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The room is elegant, decorated in blues and silvers and set with Versace tableware, with full bar service and tables for two along the windows up to tables for four, six and larger groups. The menu is truly extensive, with European-inspired dishes, and the service matches what guests expect from an ultra-luxury cruise line.

Danny's tip: “It's the perfect opportunity to try something new, or head back to your favorites.”

The Card Room & Puzzles

Guests love the card room for bridge, mahjong and games, especially on longer voyages. Two or three puzzles are usually going at once, and Danny always stops by to help.
