Allure of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s second Oasis Class ship came back from a 2025 makeover with new water slides, The Mason Jar, the Pesky Parrot tiki bar and Playmakers, alongside Central Park and the AquaTheater. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

An Oasis Class Favorite, Freshly Amplified

Allure of the Seas entered service in 2010 as the second Oasis Class ship, and Danny calls her one of his favorite ships, and a crew favorite too. In 2025 she came out of a makeover worth more than 100 million dollars. She gained The Perfect Storm water slides, the 10-story Ultimate Abyss, an enhanced Splashaway Bay, The Mason Jar, the Pesky Parrot and Playmakers, while keeping Central Park, the Boardwalk and the AquaTheater.

Her seven neighborhoods each have their own feel, from the leafy calm of Central Park to the action on the sports deck. Danny filmed this tour in 2026, after the refresh, so it shows the ship as she sails today. Watch the full tour below, or jump straight to the part of the ship you care about most.

Allure of the Seas Highlights

Pool Deck & The Perfect Storm on Allure of the Seas

Pool Deck & The Perfect Storm

The pool deck got a full makeover in the 2025 refresh. The Perfect Storm adds two racer slides and a champagne bowl that spins riders around and around. There are four distinct pool areas, including a sports pool for water volleyball, and an enhanced Splashaway Bay with dump buckets, water guns and slides sized from toddlers on up. The three-story Lime & Coconut bar keeps the party going.

Danny's tip: “Splashaway Bay is where my little guy absolutely loves to be. There are slides for the littlest kiddos all the way up to big kiddos like me.”

Sports Deck & Thrills

Heading aft, the sports deck starts with two FlowRider surf simulators, great for first-timers and experienced riders alike. A zip line crosses high above the Boardwalk and lands next to Royal Dunes mini golf, which is complimentary. A full-size sports court hosts basketball, dodgeball and even pickleball. The Ultimate Abyss dry slide drops ten stories to the Boardwalk, and the dual rock climbing walls are there too.

Danny's tip: “You can actually purchase an hour on the FlowRider where it's just you and your family. It was one of my favorite experiences on our last cruise.”

Boardwalk & AquaTheater on Allure of the Seas

Boardwalk & AquaTheater

The Boardwalk is an open-air seaside pier at the back of the ship. It has a hand-carved wooden carousel, an arcade, Zoltar the fortune teller, Sugar Beach sweets (extra cost) and the Boardwalk Dog House. At the far end, the AquaTheater stages complimentary shows with high divers jumping from several levels, slackline diving and a high-wire act. The brand-new Playmakers sports bar sits right alongside, with outdoor seating facing the big screens.

Danny's tip: “The arcade does come at an additional cost, and you can set those spending parameters on your kid's card.”

Suite Neighborhood

Full suite guests get a neighborhood of their own at the top of the ship. Coastal Kitchen on deck 17 serves them breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The Suite Lounge offers espresso, light bites, appetizers before dinner and a complimentary happy hour. The suite sun deck adds a full bar, extra-comfy loungers and beanbags. Priority boarding and special theater seating round it out, and a Harr Travel advisor can walk you through it all.

Danny's tip: “I love the hot chocolate up in the Suite Lounge, and they have great appetizers before dinner.”

Shows & Nightlife on Allure of the Seas

Shows & Nightlife

Royal Caribbean is known for its entertainment, and Allure has plenty. Mamma Mia! is the main production in the theater, and Danny promises you’ll be on your feet singing along. Studio B hosts a full ice skating show, plus open skating. The On Air Club has karaoke and trivia, the Comedy Club runs family-friendly and late-night sets, and Dazzles is a two-story nightclub with bands and DJs. All of it is included in your fare.

Danny's tip: “I love that Dazzles is two stories, so you can stay a little bit away from it all or get right into the action yourself.”

Specialty Dining

Allure has a deep bench of specialty restaurants. Chef’s Table is a multi-course, wine-paired tasting menu, and space is limited. Samba Grill brings Brazilian steakhouse service to the Solarium Bistro at night. Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table and 150 Central Park all sit in Central Park, and Johnny Rockets covers the classic diner. Star Class includes the Ultimate Dining package, or you can buy a dining package or book à la carte.

Danny's tip: “At Chops, I always go for the rib eye, and I cap it off with the red velvet cake.”

Bars & Lounges on Allure of the Seas

Bars & Lounges

Danny’s favorite bar on board is the Schooner Bar, a nautical piano bar where you can make requests and sing along every evening. Vintages pours wine in Central Park and hosts tastings, and the Trellis Bar sits right among the plants. The English pub on the Royal Promenade has live music every night, Boleros brings Latin dancing, and the Rising Tide Bar rides slowly up and down between the Promenade and Central Park.

Danny's tip: “The Rising Tide takes about 15 minutes to complete its cycle, so if you've got somewhere to go, you may not want to step on and order a drink there.”

Adventure Ocean

Danny’s kids love the Adventure Ocean program. Adventure Ocean Babies takes little ones from 6 to 36 months, by reservation and at an extra cost. Ages 3 to 5 get their own space with reading time, movies and toys. The 6-to-12 area was greatly expanded, with an arena for dodgeball, bowling and gaga ball, plus the new Adventure Ocean Theater for puppet shows. Teens have a club and spaces of their own.

Danny's tip: “Reserve the Adventure Ocean Babies times the second you get on board, because it takes a reservation and comes at an additional cost.”

The Mason Jar

Danny's favorite restaurant on board serves Southern brunch and dinner, from chicken and waffles to brisket. Its bar is the largest Mason Jar bar in the fleet, with live country music. Try the PB&J Old Fashioned.

Pesky Parrot

A tropical tiki bar on the Royal Promenade, complete with an interactive parrot that talks back. Danny calls it your favorite tiki bar at sea, and some drinks come in glasses you can take home.

▶ See it · 20:58

Playmakers

The new sports bar on the Boardwalk has about a dozen screens inside, the widest selection of tap beers on board, and outdoor seats facing the AquaTheater screens. Danny's pick: the gooey campfire cookie.
