Seabourn Sojourn

Seabourn Sojourn sailed the world for Seabourn from 2010 until May 2026 as an intimate, all-suite yacht for about 450 guests, and her sister Seabourn Quest still sails the same Odyssey Class design. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see the ship before you book.

The Odyssey Class Original That Circled the Globe

Seabourn Sojourn entered service in June 2010 as the second ship of the Odyssey Class, between Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Quest. She spent 16 years with Seabourn, sailing everywhere from Scandinavia to world cruises, with all-suite accommodations, included dining and drinks, and the warm, personal service Danny says is really what it’s all about. Her final Seabourn voyage ended on May 15, 2026, and she now sails for Mitsui Ocean Cruises as Mitsui Ocean Sakura.

Danny filmed this tour in 2024, while Sojourn was getting ready for a world cruise. Because the layout matches her sister Seabourn Quest, it is still a helpful look at Odyssey Class life, from the Observation Bar up top to the aft pool deck Danny calls his favorite place on any ship. Seabourn Sojourn Highlights

Pool Deck & The Patio on Seabourn Sojourn

Pool Deck & The Patio

The main pool deck has a full pool, two Jacuzzi hot tubs, a bar, and loungers in both sun and shade, with sun decks and drink service on the levels above. Just behind it, The Patio serves a classic pool grill lunch with pizzas, burgers, hot dogs and more elevated dishes. In the evening the same space becomes Earth & Ocean, a casual outdoor dinner with its own menu.

Danny's tip: “At Earth & Ocean, I highly recommend the beef cheeks. Well, I highly recommend absolutely everything.”

Observation Bar

Perched at the top of the ship, the Observation Bar looks out over the bow and both sides. A full cocktail bar sits in the middle, surrounded by booths, lounge seating and tables for two, with light bites set out and a piano just behind. An outdoor observation deck is used for astronomy sessions and live narration when the ship sails through scenic waters.

Danny's tip: “It's the perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail, and with all that natural light, my wife loves it for sewing.”

The Colonnade on Seabourn Sojourn

The Colonnade

The Colonnade is the casual restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast offers both continental and full buffet options with eggs made to order, and lunch brings salads, a carving station and entrées. At dinner it switches to a relaxed à la carte restaurant. Inside there are high-top tables and tables for two, four and larger groups, and the outdoor tables wrap around to the stern.

Danny's tip: “I love dining outdoors, al fresco, and this has one of the best in the industry. I love being right at the aft of the ship for those incredible views.”

Solis

Solis is the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, with upgraded ingredients paired with some of the best wines in the industry, plus an optional list of upgraded wines. It is one of the smallest venues on board, with window tables for two and four, booths with ocean views, and an open kitchen at the back. The dishes suit any itinerary, not just the Mediterranean, and service is top-notch.

The Spa & Serene on Seabourn Sojourn

The Spa & Serene

The Spa and Wellness Center sits aft and brings together the spa, salon, thermal area and fitness center. Treatments include classic massages, hot stone massages, seaweed wraps, facials and a medi-spa with an acupuncturist. The changing rooms each have a sauna and rainfall showers. For an extra charge, Serene adds heated ergonomic loungers, an aroma steam bath, a sauna and a deck facing aft.

Danny's tip: “Stop by the very first day to sign up, and reserve your sea days first, because they fill up quicker than port days. Personally, I love the hot stone massages.”

Seabourn Square

Danny compares Seabourn Square to the central piazza of an Italian town, where everybody gathers. The coffee bar pours cappuccinos, lattes and espresso, with bakery treats, sandwiches and gelato from morning into the evening. Around it are a full library, puzzles, the purser's desk, the future cruise consultant and the shore excursions desk, with seats looking out over the outdoor space at the stern.

Danny's tip: “So much of the world is going digital that I love grabbing a real book and a coffee, then heading outside or sitting inside to enjoy.”

The Club & Sushi on Seabourn Sojourn

The Club & Sushi

The Club is the classic lounge, with sofas, love seats and tables wrapped around a dance floor, a full bandstand and a bar that serves coffee in the morning and cocktails later on. It is a natural stop for a drink before or after dinner and a relaxing spot on a sea day. A sushi bar right at the bar serves complimentary sushi, a relatively new addition when Danny filmed.

Danny's tip: “I love sushi, and I love this enhancement to The Club.”

Aft Pool Deck

Just behind The Club, a second pool deck faces the ship's wake. There is a full pool you can sit beside with your toes in the water, two Jacuzzi hot tubs, sun loungers around the pool, and large lounge-style seating in the shade on the far side. It is a quieter place to spread out, and Danny calls it his favorite spot on any cruise ship.

Danny's tip: “Those of you who know me know this is my favorite place to be on a cruise ship. Sitting here at the aft is the perfect spot on a day at sea.”

Signature Experiences on Sojourn

Sky-Lit Atrium

A large skylight crowns the atrium in the middle of the ship, sending natural light down the central spiral staircase. Danny calls it a Seabourn signature you can spot from far away.

Forward Whirlpool Deck

All the way forward on Deck 6, a hot tub and sun deck face out over the bow, with tables, chairs and loungers. It is a great spot for scenic cruising and small parties.

Putting Green & Golf Swing Area

Just aft of the Deck 11 sun deck are shuffleboard courts, a putting green with several heights and surfaces, a golf swing area and ping pong, a nod to the great golf courses ashore.
