Harmony of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s newly Amplified Oasis Class ship pairs the Ultimate Abyss, Central Park and the Boardwalk with a Caribbean-style pool deck, the Pesky Parrot tiki bar and the largest casino in the fleet. We’ve walked the decks and filmed the rooms, so you can see your room before you book.

The Original Ultimate Abyss Ship, Newly Amplified

Harmony of the Seas joined the fleet in 2016 as the third Oasis Class ship, and she introduced the Ultimate Abyss dry slide. In spring 2026 she spent six weeks in dry dock in Cádiz, Spain, as part of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified program. She came out with a Caribbean-style pool deck, a refreshed Solarium, the Pesky Parrot, Playmakers, El Loco Fresh, Samba Grill, an expanded casino and 91 new cabins.

Harmony has always been one of Danny’s favorite ships, and he filmed this tour in Spain shortly after the renovation. Now she sails from Port Canaveral, near Orlando, with plenty of visits to Perfect Day CocoCay. Watch the full tour below, or jump straight to the part of the ship you care about most.

Harmony of the Seas Highlights

Pool Deck & The Perfect Storm on Harmony of the Seas

Pool Deck & The Perfect Storm

Harmony’s refreshed pool deck now has a Caribbean feel, with the Lime & Coconut bar spread over several decks and pouring frozen drinks. The main pool has a gradual entry, so you can sit in a lounger right in the water, and the Perfect Storm slides include the Champagne Bowl and two racers. There’s also a family pool, an accessible pool with a lift and a sports pool. Splashaway Bay keeps little ones busy, and private casitas can be reserved (extra cost).

Danny's tip: “As a multiple-time winner, I've hung up my swim trunks so you have a shot. Don't miss the belly flop contest at the sports pool. It's one of the most fun events of the cruise.”

The Solarium

The adults-only Solarium, for guests 16 and up, was refreshed in the 2026 refit. It’s open air, with stepped roofs for shade, two hot tubs, a water feature, a full bar and plenty of loungers. A new sun deck up front adds more seating and sweeping views, and you can even step out above the bridge wings. Next door, the Solarium Bistro serves a complimentary buffet breakfast and lunch, then becomes Samba Grill, a Brazilian steakhouse, at night (extra cost).

Danny's tip: “The Solarium Bistro is one of my biggest Royal tips, especially on boarding day. It's buffet style like the Windjammer, but guests tend to find it later.”

Sports Deck & Thrills on Harmony of the Seas

Sports Deck & Thrills

Harmony introduced the Ultimate Abyss, a dry slide inside a giant anglerfish that drops you all the way down to the Boardwalk. Up top there’s a zip line across the Boardwalk, two FlowRider surf simulators, an amplified mini golf course and a sports court for basketball, soccer and dodgeball, all included in your fare. Between the FlowRiders, the Wipe Out Bar is the only spot on board with shaved ice. Nearby, the new El Loco Fresh serves fast, casual Mexican.

Danny's tip: “I come up on the first day and sign the waivers for the whole family, for the FlowRiders and the zip line. Then you can ride as many times as you like at no extra cost.”

Adventure Ocean

Danny first used Adventure Ocean more than 30 years ago, and now his own kids love it. Adventure Ocean Babies looks after little ones from 6 to 36 months (extra cost, by reservation). Juniors is for ages 3 to 5, and The Hangout, for ages 6 to 12, has video games, an active arena, a theater and an arts workshop. Teens get Social 100 and their own patio. The upgraded escape room and Challengers Arcade (extra cost) are nearby.

Danny's tip: “Stop by on the very first day to get your kids registered. They'll go over the times and answer your questions, so the kids can start having fun right away.”

Central Park on Harmony of the Seas

Central Park

Central Park debuted on Oasis of the Seas, and Harmony’s has more than 10,000 live plants, living walls and a trellis walk. The park changes through the day, and Danny thinks it’s even more beautiful at night, when there’s live jazz. Dining here includes Chops Grille, the elegant 150 Central Park, the updated Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and its wine bar, and Park Café with its famous Kummelweck sandwich. The Trellis Bar serves drinks anywhere in the park.

Danny's tip: “At Chops Grille, it's always the rib eye for me. At 150 Central Park, the lobster Thermidor is one of my all-time favorites, and Giovanni's has one of the very best chicken parms at sea.”

Royal Promenade

The Royal Promenade is the first thing guests see when they board: a city street inside the ship, with skylights overhead. The new Pesky Parrot tiki bar replaced the Bionic Bar. You’ll also find the Rising Tide bar, which slowly rises up to Central Park, plus Sorrento’s pizza, Café Promenade, the Boot & Bonnet pub, On Air karaoke, a relocated Starbucks (extra cost), Boleros for Latin dancing, and the Schooner Bar, Danny’s favorite bar on any Royal ship.

Danny's tip: “The Rising Tide takes about 15 to 20 minutes to make the trip, so I keep an eye on my dining reservation before I hop on.”

Boardwalk & AquaTheater on Harmony of the Seas

Boardwalk & AquaTheater

The Boardwalk is an open-air, seaside-style neighborhood at the back of the ship. It has a real wooden carousel, the Dog House for hot dogs and kielbasa, Johnny Rockets (extra cost), a new arcade, two rock climbing walls, and the Chips, a climbing structure kids love. At the far end, the AquaTheater stages high divers, tightrope walkers and acrobats, all included in your fare. Its two big screens also show games and first-run movies.

Danny's tip: “In my mind, Johnny Rockets is the best spot on board for breakfast, and breakfast there is complimentary.”

Shows & Nightlife

The Royal Theater stages original production shows on a stage framed by big LED screens, with stadium-style seating, all included in your fare. Studio B is an ice rink at heart, home to Royal’s ice-skating shows, and it also hosts nightclub parties and new laser tag. The amplified Casino Royale is now the largest in the fleet, with 37 table games and more than 500 slots. Dazzles, a two-story nightclub, has live music every night, and Boleros keeps the dancing going late.

Danny's tip: “Royal hires some of the best skaters in the world, and the ice shows will blow your mind. I highly recommend you don't miss one.”

Shows & Nightlife on Harmony of the Seas

New on the Amplified Harmony

The Pesky Parrot

This lively tiki bar replaced the Bionic Bar on the Royal Promenade, with frozen drinks on tap, tiki glasses to take home and a sassy parrot. Danny calls it his favorite part of the renovation. His order: the Painkiller.

▶ See it · 26:34

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade

Playmakers took over the Boardwalk spot where Sabor used to be, with TVs all around, beers on draft, burgers and nachos (extra cost). Danny's late-night pick is the campfire cookie, ooey and gooey with ice cream.

▶ See it · 35:08

Samba Grill

In the evening, the Solarium Bistro becomes Samba Grill, a Brazilian steakhouse with meats carved tableside (extra cost). You choose exactly what you want and how much. Danny, a self-described carnivore, loves it.
