Legend of the Seas has more places to eat than you’ll get to on a single cruise. She’s Royal Caribbean’s third Icon Class ship, and on top of the venues the class is known for, she debuts two dining experiences you won’t find on any other ship: Royal Railway – Legend Station and the Hollywoodland Supper Club. We filmed the restaurants, cafés and food halls on Legend during her first season. This guide walks you through what’s included, what costs extra, and which reservations to make first.

The Restaurants Only on Legend
Royal Railway – Legend Station
Deck 6, Forward
This is dinner as a show. You walk into a recreated train station, hand your ticket to the conductor, and pick up one of five signature cocktails you can only get here before you board real train carriages. Booths seat two on one side and four on the other. Once the curtains go up, screens in the windows make it feel like the train is rolling through your dining destination, and the waiters play a part in the story. The menu is themed around the Silk Road. Book it the moment reservations open, because seats are limited.

Hollywoodland Supper Club
Deck 8, Forward
Legend’s top dining experience is an intimate, multi-course dinner that celebrates old Hollywood. Each course comes with a paired cocktail and a live performance from a piano, a bass and a singer. Tables are for two and four, there’s a dress-up requirement, and it books up early. It’s Legend’s version of the supper clubs on Icon and Star of the Seas, with a film-history theme.

Included Dining on Legend of the Seas
Main Dining Room
Decks 3–5, Aft
The three-story Main Dining Room serves dinner every night, plus breakfast and lunch depending on whether it’s a sea day or a port day. Tables range from two-tops to parties of 10. You choose between two styles of dining. My Time Dining works restaurant-style, roughly 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a possible short wait at peak times. Set dining gives you the same table, waiters and tablemates every night. Ask your travel advisor to arrange your dining time and seating before you sail.

Windjammer Marketplace
Deck 15, Aft
The buffet starts with the “washy washy” handwashing station at the entrance. Instead of one long line, the room has two mirror-image sides with separate stations: a bakery right at the entrance, waffles, fruit, carved ham and bacon, made-to-order omelets and eggs, drink stations and a full bar. On a sea day, breakfast usually wraps up around 11:00 a.m. and the egg station becomes a hot grill for lunch. Dinner has a different theme each night. Seating has been greatly expanded, including tables along the windows that look down into Surfside.

AquaDome Market
Deck 15, Forward
This complimentary food hall sits inside the AquaDome. You can pick up crêpes, Korean rice bowls with marinated beef or chicken, scallion pancakes and kimchi, Cajun gumbo with shrimp, sausage or chicken, al pastor tacos with your own toppings, and Spanish tapas at La Española. Simply Pressed, the juice and smoothie bar, has moved here from the spa. It’s one of the best places on the ship for a quick lunch with a view.

Park Café
Deck 8, Midship
Central Park’s grab-and-go café serves breakfast sandwiches and pastries in the morning. Later in the day you’ll find the famous Kummelweck roast beef sandwich, pressed sandwiches, a full salad bar, soups, fruit, desserts and unlimited cookies.

Pearl Café
Deck 6, Midship
At the top of the Pearl, the Promenade’s moving centerpiece, Pearl Café serves quick bites from morning until late at night. It has a full coffee bar and lounge seating facing floor-to-ceiling windows. It replaces the Café Promenade on older Royal ships. See it in our Short:
Sorrento’s Pizza
Deck 5, Forward
Sorrento’s serves complimentary, unlimited pizza from late morning until the early hours. Pepperoni and cheese are always on, and there’s a rotating sampler each day. It’s the place to be at 1:00 a.m.

El Loco Fresh
Deck 15, Midship
Up by the pool, El Loco Fresh does build-your-own tacos with beans, rice, chicken, beef and pork, plus nachos with cheese sauce, quesadillas and burritos. Cantina Fresca next door handles the margaritas.

Basecamp
Deck 16, Aft
Thrill Island’s snack spot keeps you close to the slides. Order the smashburger with tots. There are also hot dogs and chicken fingers, a bar for the adults, and picnic-style seating.

Surfside Eatery, Surfside Bites and Sprinkles
Deck 7, Aft
Families with younger kids barely need to leave Surfside. Surfside Eatery is a buffet tailored to kids, with ice cream. Surfside Bites serves churros, burgers, hot dogs, popcorn chicken and fruit skewers. Sprinkles has soft serve on the go.

Specialty Restaurants on Legend of the Seas
Izumi Hibachi & Sushi
Deck 8, Forward
Izumi is two restaurants in one. The sushi side has rolls, sashimi, nigiri and a sushi bar you can sit at. On the teppanyaki side, the chefs put on a show while they cook seafood, steak, chicken and fried rice. You can order sushi from the teppanyaki side too. It’s one of the best restaurants on the ship.

Izumi in the Park
Deck 8, Forward
This takeout window in Central Park serves sushi and chicken karaage. It also has the best ice cream on the ship, served in fish-shaped bubble cones.
Danny’s tip: “Izumi in the Park has the best ice cream on the ship, and it’s not even close. I always get the bubble cone.”

Chops Grille
Deck 8, Forward
Royal Caribbean’s original steakhouse is even better on Legend. Start with the shrimp cocktail or crab cakes, then go for the ribeye. Signature cuts are available as an upgrade. You can also sit outside in Central Park.

Hooked Seafood
Deck 15, Forward
Hooked has Cape Cod-style decor, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a raw bar where you can pull up a seat for oysters. It’s open for lunch on sea days and for dinner. The menu runs from lobster to coconut shrimp, and the fish sandwich is a lunch favorite.

Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar
Deck 6, Midship
Giovanni’s serves pastas, antipasti and entrées family style, with pizza from a wood-fired oven. The pizza with ricotta and hot honey is the one to order. There’s also a full wine bar you can eat at. It’s very popular, so book early.

Pier 7
Deck 7, Aft
Pier 7 is a sit-down restaurant in Surfside with Californian coastal cuisine and all-day brunch. You can eat inside or outside next to the playscape, so kids can play while you wait for your food.
Danny’s tip: “Pier 7 is my family’s favorite restaurant on the Icon Class. Go for the sea-day brunch pancakes, and the Santa Maria steak at dinner.”

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade
Deck 6, Aft
Playmakers has TVs all around, beer on tap, pool, foosball and arcade games, plus late-night eats. Don’t miss the campfire cookie. Food here is à la carte.

Suite Dining: Coastal Kitchen and The Grove
Coastal Kitchen: Decks 16–17, Forward · The Grove: Deck 18, Forward
Suite guests get two more restaurants. Coastal Kitchen serves an upgraded breakfast, lunch and dinner, with views over the AquaTheater, so you can watch rehearsals by day and shows at night. Junior Suite guests may be able to dine there in the evening, depending on availability. Your Harr Travel advisor can confirm the details for your cabin. The Grove, on the suite sun deck, is a Mediterranean-inspired spread of salads (try the watermelon and feta), meats and cheeses, and desserts. Star Class guests also get unlimited specialty dining.

Tips for Booking Dining on Legend of the Seas
- Reserve the two Legend originals first. Royal Railway and Hollywoodland have limited seats and are in high demand.
- Compare dining packages before you sail. Royal’s Unlimited Dining Package covers most specialty restaurants, but some experiences, including Royal Railway, add a surcharge even with the package. Your advisor can tell you whether a package makes sense for your sailing.
- Set your Main Dining Room plan ahead of time. Choose My Time Dining or a set dining time and table before you board.
- Don’t skip the included venues. AquaDome Market, Park Café and Sorrento’s hold their own against plenty of paid restaurants.
