The Performances
The AquaTheater offers a unique blend of performance styles, resulting in electrifying shows that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. High-flying acrobats soar above the pool, while daring divers plunge from heights of up to 20 feet.
One striking example is the show “Aqua80,” where over 20 performers execute synchronized routines, turning the water into a mesmerizing display of movement. Whether it’s a delicate aerial ballet or a gravity-defying dive, every moment is carefully crafted to leave you wanting more.

Oasis vs. Icon Class
The AquaTheater concept was first introduced on the Oasis Class ships, featuring a stunning open-air theater at the very aft of the ship overlooking the wake. This position creates an unforgettable evening, highlighted by the natural beauty of the ocean as a backdrop.
Royal brought the AquaTheater back for their brand new Icon Class ships, but with a few changes. The new AquaDome at the very top crown of the ship is the location for the theater, and includes a state-of-the-art sound system, mesmerizing technology including the use of robots, and easy access to delicious dining with the new AquaDome Market. This location also allows performances to continue in most weather conditions, ensuring that guests can enjoy world-class entertainment year-round!
