Festive Culinary Options
The holiday season is about to get even more festive with Holland America, as the famed cruise lines introduces several new culinary delights from Thanksgiving to New Years. Throughout this time guests can enjoy the Nutcracker Tea, a refreshed cocktail menu, and multiple seasonal dishes featured on the ships’ menus.
Holiday Feasts and Treats
These culinary offerings are kicked off with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for those on the Thanksgiving cruises, followed by a globally inspired Christmas Eve feast, and Hanukkah treats such as latkes and jelly doughnuts. An Italian-themed Christmas dinner will be served in Canaletto- a great option for guests who want to experience the traditions of Christmas from another country. In addition all Caribbean cruises will feature “Breakfast with Santa”; the perfect options for families with young kiddos.
Nutcracker Tea and Seasonal Cocktails
During December the “Nutcracker Afternoon Tea” will be offered on select sea days, another great option for kids, and one the adults will love as well! Throughout the ship there will be seasonal cocktails and coffees from Minty Elf Martinis, to Vanilla Gingerbread Lattes, and Spiked Eggnog.
To compliment these festive culinary delights, the ships will be decked out in their holiday finest with a menorah display, gifts under the Christmas trees, lights everywhere, and a gingerbread village display.
