All the Beach Options at Perfect Day at CocoCay- Royal Caribbean Private Island Experience
A closer look at all the incredible beach options at Royal Caribbean's private island- Perfect Day at CocoCay. South Beach to Chill Island!
Perfect Day at CocoCay
One of the most popular destinations for Royal Caribbean fans is Perfect Day at CocoCay. This is Royal’s private island experience in the Bahamas that offers guests a day of pristine beaches, delicious dining, relaxing activities and excursions, fun waterslides, and incredible bars. Passengers will disembark the ship and enjoy a tropical paradise for the whole day. Grab a lounger in the white sand and enjoy the fresh ocean air as you stare off into the turquoise blue waters of the Bahamas.
CocoCay has a lot to offer, but one of the best aspects of this incredible island are the endless beaches. Royal has beaches on just about all sides of the island, each with their own vibe and feeling, so you can choose the best spot for you to set up camp for the day and relax in the sun.
Beach Options
Chill Island
The beach area at Chill Island is designed to be relaxing. There are many loungers with shade umbrellas throughout the beach, as well as hammocks tucked away in the trees. You can enjoy wading or swimming in the crystal blue water- and Chill Island has some of the best snorkeling around CocoCay. You can also find a mini island library where you can borrow a book for the day.
Breezy Bay at Chill Island
On the far northern section of Chill Island is Breezy Bay. This space offers a more active relaxation, with sports courts and games, as well as beach loungers throughout. Here guests can enjoy fun activities including beach volleyball, basketball, jumbo jenga, pingpong, corn hole, and more!
South Beach
Located on the south side of the island, South Beach offers plenty of loungers and sandy spaces to spread out and relax in the sun. There are umbrellas for shaded options as well, and lots of beach to enjoy the refreshing water, including the in-water cocktail tables.
Cove Beach
Cove Beach was built away from the rest of the hustle and bustle on the island, and offers a quiet retreat for those looking for a more relaxing and peaceful beach atmosphere. There is ample quiet beach space to enjoy here as well as loungers throughout for relaxation, making it the perfect place for a good book or an afternoon nap.
Harbor Beach
Harbor Beach sits on the interior of the island, next to the pier. This area offers a comfortable beach space with loungers and seating throughout with views of the ship, and floating lily pads- always a fun option for the kiddos!
Coco Beach Club
Coco Beach Club is a private beach club that guests can reserve for day-use. There are many cabana options, including the famous over-the-water cabanas- reminiscent of the bungalows in Tahiti. The beach at Coco Beach Club is private, and offers a serene and relaxed experience. There are also complementary floating mats that guests can borrow to enjoy in the shallows.
Hideaway Beach
This is the 18+ spot on the island, where adults can enjoy a bit of a party atmosphere with delicious drinks, food, pools, and cabanas. The moon-shaped beach is filled end-to-end with comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas so guests can grab a drink and enjoy a day in the shade or sun.
On the far end are hammocks in the water, as well as covered cocktail tables, and the swings so you can take the perfect instagram shot.
