Royal Railway – Utopia Station: Royal Caribbean’s New Immersive Dining Experience on Utopia of the Seas
Royal Caribbean's upcoming ship - Utopia of the Seas will be debuting an immersive dining experience: The Royal Railroad - Utopia Station!
Imagine stepping onto a train and taking a luxury journey across the world, filled with global flavors and delicious cuisine- no passport required! On Royal Caribbean’s upcoming Oasis Class ship, Utopia of the Seas, you will be able to do just that. This new specialty dining venue will be a one-of-a-kind immersive experience- a journey of the senses, as you cross western desert landscapes and vast parts of Asia on this unforgettable, savory adventure.
One-Way Ticket to Culinary Paradise
The Royal Railway – Utopia Station will be opening to passengers this summer, offering a one-way ticket to culinary paradise. Cruise passengers will begin their evening on the station platform, enjoying pre-dinner cocktails before the conductor announces “All aboard!”, and the train journey begins.

Two Very Different Dining Experiences
Guests will step onboard the two old fashioned train cars- reminiscent of the beautiful Orient Express- and take their seats in the dining car. Royal Caribbean has hinted at 2 very different dining experiences in the works; one in the Wild West at the turn of the century that is geared toward families, while the other explores the Silk Road in Asia- a wonderful option for adults or a romantic date night. As food is brought to the tables, the LED screens in the windows and actors on the train will add to the completely immersive experience. Royal is toying with other concepts including a wine-tasting in Napa, and a hot chocolate train to the North Pole!
Immersive Experiences Rise in Popularity
As immersive experiences rise in popularity, Royal is taking the lead by introducing the Royal Railway on Utopia. The themes and cuisine can adjust and change through the seasons and years- and the possibilities and concepts are endless. Guests can expect more of these incredible venues going forward, and Utopia is paving the way.
