Valiant Lady 2.0: What’s New After Her 2026 Glow-Up (With Our Photos)
Valiant Lady is back from her 2026 dry dock with Ariya by Razzle Dazzle, a more open Athletic Club, a plum Roundabout, a reworked On the Rocks, a single-level Manor and 20+ new Happenings. Here's what changed, with photos from our own visit.
Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady returned to service in June 2026 after a two-week dry dock at Fincantieri’s Palermo shipyard, and Virgin is calling it a full-ship glow-up. This wasn’t a rebuild. Virgin took the spaces Sailors already love and made them work better: more open sightlines, more seating, more shade, a brand-new Indian restaurant concept and more than 20 new Happenings.
We were onboard recently with our cameras. Below you’ll find what changed, where to find it and our own photos of the refreshed spaces.
Valiant Lady 2.0 at a glance
- Ariya by Razzle Dazzle: a new modern Indian dinner concept, developed with chef Maneet Chauhan
- The Athletic Club: clearer ocean views at the back of the ship, shaded daybed clusters and loungers that face the sea
- The Roundabout: refreshed in Valiant Lady’s signature plum, with new furniture groupings
- On the Rocks (Deck 6): a relocated stage, better sightlines and extra seating
- The Manor: the raised platforms are gone, opening up the dance floor
- Grounds Club Too: coffee all day, and now a full bar from late afternoon
- The Dock: a new stage setup and windscreen
- Shore Things, Future Voyages and High Street: new hubs, new desks and new shops
- 20+ new Happenings: game shows, trivia, workshops and tastings

The Athletic Club: open views and more shade
The Athletic Club, the outdoor space at the back of the top deck, is the change you’ll see first. The metal section at the aft end has been removed, so the view out over the wake is now clear glass and open ocean. Lounge seating has been reworked to face the water. New shaded daybed clusters give you somewhere to escape the midday sun without heading inside.
Around the pool you’ll also find new steps and railings that make getting in and out easier, plus revised furniture layouts that free up deck space. If you used to skip the aft deck for the pool, it’s worth a second look.

The Roundabout: refreshed in plum
The Roundabout is the social hub that wraps around the spiral staircase on Decks 6 and 7. It’s now dressed in Valiant Lady’s signature plum, with new furniture groupings that make it feel more like a lounge than a walkway. The update follows the version that debuted on Brilliant Lady. Expect it to become the spot you claim early and keep coming back to.

Nearby, Draught Haus has an updated menu and has added an espresso machine, so you can switch between a craft beer and a cappuccino without moving.

On the Rocks: the stage has moved
On the Rocks, the center bar on Deck 6, got one of the most noticeable layout changes. The curved wall beside the stage is gone, and the stage itself has been relocated. The result is a wider room, better sightlines for live music and noticeably more seating.

The Manor: one level, a bigger dance floor
The Manor, Valiant Lady’s nightclub, got the biggest structural change of the dry dock. The raised seating platforms and the rear wall have been removed, leaving a single-level room with a larger dance floor, more capacity and better views of the stage. It’s also much easier to get around if you use a wheelchair or just don’t love stepping up to bench seating in the dark. Game shows such as Pay Attent!on now play here too.
Ariya by Razzle Dazzle: modern Indian for dinner
The headline dining addition is Ariya, a modern Indian concept that takes over Razzle Dazzle in the evening. Breakfast and brunch stay the same during the day. Ariya was developed with Indie Culinaire and chef Maneet Chauhan and seats 220. The menu travels the length of India, from Lamb Shank Biryani to Puffed Rice and Avocado Chaat, alongside cocktails built on the same regional spices. The name honors Sir Richard Branson’s great-great-grandmother, a traveler from Tamil Nadu.
Like every eatery on Virgin Voyages, Ariya is included in your fare. Make your reservation as soon as your dining window opens. It’s the newest restaurant onboard, so it’s the one everyone wants to try.
Grounds Club Too: coffee by day, cocktails by evening
Inside The Galley, Grounds Club Too still serves Intelligentsia coffee all day. From late afternoon, it now turns into a full bar. That makes it an easy pre-dinner stop or a low-key nightcap after a show. The new look lines it up with the versions on Scarlet Lady and Brilliant Lady.

The Dock: built for changing weather
The Dock, the open-air lounge at the back of the ship, has a new stage setup and a windscreen. Outdoor performances are more comfortable when the breeze picks up, so the sunset-to-starlight sets can carry on.
Shore Things, Future Voyages and High Street
Shore Things now has a dedicated hub with comfortable seating, a good spot to plan your port days. Future Voyages (formerly Get Lost) has new outward-facing desks and a new sales area.

Along High Street, TAG Heuer and Pandora have joined the retail lineup. The Virgin Voyages brand shop has moved into a bigger, more prominent space, and Squid Ink has relocated to Deck 6 next to Extra Virgin.
More than 20 new Happenings
The refresh wasn’t only physical. Valiant Lady launched more than 20 new Happenings, including:
- Game shows: Nice Box!, Pay Attent!on and Sink ‘Oar’ Swim
- Trivia and social games: Extra! Extra! and Destination Unknown
- Workshops: UpCycle Club arts and crafts
- Food and drink: Trust Your Tongue and Sweet Aft Matcha
Smaller touches around the ship
You’ll also notice new carpeting, a fresh coat of hull paint with the mermaid artwork reapplied, updated casino machines and a new seating area at Lick Me Till Ice Cream. In the cabins, look for new carpet and tiling plus USB-C charging.
Is Valiant Lady 2.0 worth booking?
If you’ve sailed Valiant Lady before, the ship will feel familiar, just better. The spaces flow more naturally, the aft deck finally makes the most of its views, and Ariya gives you a genuinely new reason to come back. If you’re new to Virgin Voyages, she now lines up closely with the newest ships in the fleet. Valiant Lady is spending fall, winter and spring sailing from San Juan, so it’s a great time to see the changes for yourself.
