The Ultimate Family Townhouse – A Closer Look at the 3 Story Suite Onboard Icon of the Seas
Take a closer look at the Ultimate Family Townhouse- the top Star Class Suite onboard Royal Caribbean's brand new ship - Icon of the Seas!
Icon of the Seas has made waves in the cruise industry the past few weeks, as Royal Caribbean is debuting all the incredible, over-the-top spaces onboard. One of the most exciting new suite options available is the Ultimate Family Townhouse. This multi-level, colorful, fun-inducing Star Class suite is fitting for a ship of Icon’s size, and is the most family-friendly accommodation that we have ever seen on any Royal Caribbean ship.
The Suite
This incredible suite spans 3 decks, and can sleep up to 8 people. From the musical staircase, to the interactive dining table, to the movie theater and indoor slide, this is a family’s paradise onboard Icon.
Main Level

The main floor offers a large dining space, access to the huge private deck overlooking the aft and side of the ship, a hot tub, movie theater, and an interactive screen dining table so you can enjoy your in-suite dining and play games at the same time!
Upper Level
On the upper level the master bedroom features a king size bed and a huge bathroom with a large shower – an oasis for the parents. Just next door is the kids bedroom with room to sleep 8 kids on bunk beds, each with their own flat screen tv, and a colorful bathroom just for the children.
Also upstairs is a large net suspended over the floor below so the kids can have fun and relax. The entrance to your own indoor slide is located here as well, so you can get down to the living room quickly, efficiently, and in a more fun way than just taking the stairs.
Lower Level

Below on the lower level is the private patio space with a ping-pong table, comfortable seating, and direct private access to the Surfside Family Neighborhood, so you and the family can head right out the very moment you wake up in the morning and begin your day of fun in the sun!
Surfside Family Neighborhood

The Surfside Family Neighborhood is located in the aft on Deck 7, and is the family fun zone onboard! Kids and parents alike can spend the whole day there, enjoying the splash pad, wading pools, carousel, the Surfside Eatery for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, quick grab-and-go options at Surfside Bites, and of course a Sprinkles soft serve station.
In addition the Arcade is located here, along with some retail, the new Pier 7 restaurant, and Lemon Post – the spot for a delicious cocktail or kiddo mocktail!
Star Class
As always in Star Class, the entire ship is open to you. With the help of your Royal Genie and the concierge team, you will get everything you want, when you want, and however you want it. The ship is your oyster, whether that means enjoying the complimentary specialty dining every night in the dining rooms or in-suite, never waiting in lines for an activity, or having special reserved seating at all the shows onboard – you will have everything you desire while sailing in Star Class on Icon of the Seas.
In addition Star Suite guests also have access to the suite-only spaces including the Grove Sundeck, and Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…and on Icon Coastal Kitchen overlooks the AquaDome Theater so you can have your dinner and a show at the same time!
