What Is the Galaxy Pavilion on an NCL Ship?
A closer look at all of the virtual reality games you can experience at the Galaxy Pavilion onboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.
Norwegian Cruise Line offers many unique and diverse activities and entertainment onboard their ships. This has never been more apparent than with their newest ships, many of which include the Galaxy Pavilion. As virtual reality games and experiences become more and more popular in today’s world, NCL has jumped on the trend and set up several different game options in this high-tech venue. At the Galaxy Pavilion, guests can enjoy a variety of virtual reality games from off-roading, to dancing games, to flying a spaceship through the galaxy.
When you step into the Pavilion, you feel as though you have entered a galactic spaceship. The floors, walls, and ceilings are black, and there are colorful neon lights throughout, reminiscent of a Star Wars ship.

Games and Experiences
If you fancy getting behind the wheel of a race car, spaceship, or off-roading vehicle, there are plenty of experiences offered, including the gyro, where you will be spun every-which way in an action-packed game. There are exciting experiences where you can simulate walking along a thin bridge and try not to fall!
There are musical games, blaster games, as well as The Dark Room, where you and a few of your friends can have a true 4D experience where you can hunt zombies and bad guys through the jungle and you will hear noises, feel mist, and smell the tropical scents. There are also immersive escape rooms in the Galaxy Pavilion, where you and your family can enjoy a few puzzles and try and figure your way out of a themed predicament.
Purchasing Game Time
Guests can purchase a slot of time in which they can play unlimited games. In addition there is an option to purchase an unlimited pass which can be used throughout the entire cruise when the Pavilion is open. Some games can be purchased individually for a one-time play as well.
